Order Processing Times

Orders are typically processed within 2–5 business days after payment is received, excluding weekends and holidays, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Processing time refers to the period during which your order is prepared, packed, and handed off to the carrier. Shipping time refers to the transit time once the carrier has received the package.

Preorders & Backordered Items

Certain products sold by Ricotta Records are offered as preorders or backordered items. These items will have an explicit estimated ship date clearly stated on the product page at the time of purchase.

By placing a preorder, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Preorders are not in stock at the time of purchase

• Estimated ship dates are estimates, not guarantees

• Orders will not ship until the stated estimated ship date has been reached

• Delays may occur due to manufacturing, fulfillment, supply chain issues, or circumstances beyond our control

Orders containing preorder items will not be considered “late” or “unshipped” prior to the stated estimated ship date. Requests for refunds, chargebacks, or disputes submitted before the estimated ship date has passed will be considered invalid.

If an order contains both in-stock and preorder items, the entire order may be held and shipped together unless otherwise stated.

Shipping Rates & Methods

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location, package weight, and selected shipping method.

Available shipping methods and carriers may vary by destination.

Domestic & International Shipping

We currently ship to select domestic and international destinations. International customers are responsible for:

• Customs duties

• Import taxes

• VAT or other local fees

Ricotta Records is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing or for packages refused due to unpaid import fees.

Shipping Confirmation & Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information. Tracking updates may take up to 48 hours to appear after carrier acceptance.

Delays & Carrier Issues

Ricotta Records is not responsible for shipping delays caused by:

• Postal or carrier disruptions

• Weather events

• Customs inspections

• Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by the customer

Once a package has been handed off to the carrier, delivery timelines are the responsibility of the carrier.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

Ricotta Records is not liable for packages that are marked as delivered by the carrier but are lost or stolen thereafter.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with clear photographic evidence so we can assess the issue.

Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for ensuring that shipping information is accurate at checkout. Orders returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses may be subject to additional shipping fees.

Refunds Related to Shipping

Shipping costs are non-refundable, except where required by law.

Refunds will not be issued for:

• Orders delayed due to carrier issues

• Preorders prior to the stated estimated ship date

• Orders where tracking confirms delivery
